Youtube Top Popular Chinese Songs, Most Streamed Chinese Artist Ranking 2024- Taiwan

At the end of each year, major streaming platforms reveal their annual rankings. YouTube, Google's video streaming platform, has also released its 2024 video rankings for different countries. Since YouTube does not have a separate chart specifically for Chinese music videos and artists, we will use the YouTube Taiwan chart rankings as a reliable point of reference.

                                       

2024 Youtube Top Popular Songs- Taiwan 

At number three, Taiwanese boy group Energy made a huge comeback with the viral "16 Squat" challenge, accompanied by their title song "Friday Night." The track quickly became the most popular music video in Taiwan this year, sparking a wave of dance imitation videos across the platform.

 Interestingly, many songs on this list are also on the  Spotify Global most streamed songs 2024 list.

2024 Taiwan YouTube Music: Most Streamed Singer 2024

Jay Chou (周杰倫) is undoubtedly the undisputed King of Mandopop, once again solidifying his immense influence in the music industry. He continues to dominate the global Chinese music scene's streaming landscape, securing the top spot as the most-streamed Chinese-language artist not only on YouTube but also on Spotify.

Ranking sixth on the list is Nine One One, a Taiwanese three-member rap group. Debuting in 2009, Chunfeng, Onion, and Jianzhi came from non-musical backgrounds but have since created a unique blend of rap and electronic music, with lyrics that resonate deeply with Taiwanese local life. In 2016, they were nominated for Best Singing Group at the 27th Golden Melody Awards and invited to perform at the ceremony, where they achieved the highest ratings. Still maintaining their popularity, they have amassed over 10 million views on their videos.
