Chart Changes and new Debut Songs
The charts got a fresh shake-up this week, with four new entries making their debut. Not only that—both the first and second spots are now held by brand-new songs. Crowd Lu Guang Zhong soared straight to number one with his cover of “Yu Ren Jie Kuai Le.” Tizzy Bac also enters the chart with a new track, while Chi Xiu makes a surprising comeback. His music video, released four months ago, has now surpassed 1 million views, proving his lasting popularity.

Just a quick note to share a small but important change. After many years of following and blogging about a Chinese music chart based on a traditional radio station, I’ve decided it’s time for a bit of a refresh.
With the way music is consumed these days—especially through online streaming—it's clear that the charts have evolved too. Songs can now go viral overnight or climb the ranks thanks to online buzz, and I want the chart I follow to reflect that shift more accurately.
So, starting next week, I’ll be switching to a chart based on a popular online music streaming platform. I believe this will give a more current and realistic picture of which songs are truly resonating with listeners.
